Every single one of our Blooming Cookies & Brownies wrappers is biodegradable. Our cello wrappers are made from wood cellulose fibers sourced with sustainable forestry principles. Certified biodegradable, compostable and made carbon zero. Meets ATSM, D6400, EN13432 standards for CA and other states.
The decorative tissue we use is made from recycled fibers. Our styrofoam is made with recycled materials.
All of our gift boxes are made with recycled materials. The gloss boxes are printed with soy inks.
Many of the containers holding our Blooming Cookie bouquets are designed to live on! Our standard tins (As in Star is Born, Thanks Bunches, Perfect Pansies) make great planters, to hold a 6" terracotta pot, or use them like we do - caddies for art or office supplies.
We are using festive grosgrain or satin bows on our boxed gifts, trays, and long stem products-reuse the bow on the next gift you give.
We are recycling newsprint for cushioning in our shipping boxes. Our shipping boxes are made with recycled pulp.
We use local or nearby vendors as much as possible.
We turn out the lights in rooms not in use, power down computers and appliances at night, print on both sides of paper, and employ natural air conditioning in our warehouse - by just rolling up the doors.
We've found that it's not hard to make the switch to more eco-friendly practices. We're excited about exploring even more ways to be a greener company.
