saveourpets.org, organized by Blooming Cookies' Founder Ann King, is really taking hold. In just a few weeks, the organization has thus far helped over 200 pets remain in their homes without fear of being forced to be given up or abandoned. Plans are underway to share information on how to set up a similar pet food bank in other parts of America, due to recent interest.
The Atlanta Food Bank has donated 11 pallets of pet food and treats.
